To My Dear Patients and Friends,
After practicing dentistry for 30 years here in Sunnyvale, I have decided to retire. It is with mixed emotions I am announcing my retirement from dentistry. I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your continued trust and confidence in allowing me to serve as your dentist through the years. I will miss the friendships and hope to continue them outside of the office. However, I am eagerly looking forward to new opportunities in retired life.
I’m happy to be leaving you in the very capable hands of Dr. Steven J. Gee who has been my partner for the last 17 years. Dr. Gee will be taking over my practice and assuming responsibility for your future dental care. He is a caring talented dentist and is extremely well skilled in all phases of dentistry. Many of you have already had the opportunity to meet and be treated by Dr. Gee. I’m so thankful that Dr. Gee will be stepping in to ensure that my patients continue to receive exceptional dental care.
For those of you who have yet to meet him, Dr. Gee was raised in Sunnyvale and is a Homestead High grad. Dr. Gee is a graduate of UC Davis in 1992 and UCSF School of Dentistry in 1997 and has been practicing dentistry with me here since 2001. We have stayed up to date on the latest advancements in dentistry to provide the most current treatment options for our patients.
I’m very pleased that our entire staff of Sarah, Trish, Teresa, Gloria, Stephanie, Anne, Renae, Paula and May will be staying with Dr. Gee and the practice. This will continue our tradition of excellent dental care and provide a smooth transition.
I truly thank all of you for your loyalty over the years and during this transition. I feel much comfort in knowing that your dental needs will be in caring competent hands with Dr. Gee and our staff. Although I will miss each of you, I am eagerly looking forward to retired life. Best wishes to you all!
Thomas K. Markuson, D.D.S AKA Dr. M
